A letter to from a grateful soul.

This piece of writing is not meant to enforce an opinion. It is not meant to propagate clichéd ideas. It is rather meant to reveal or rather reiterate subtle but beautiful truths. Truths I have come to intimately know and deeply understand over the course of this rather eventful year.

The truth and gift of life is the greatest there is. And even though it is sadly not a gift to keep indefinitely, it is a gift to be enjoyed in the most passionate way. Constantly be reminded of the truth and gift of your own mortality. Never forget it. It places things in their proper perspective and it shows what truly matters.

The truth and gift of love is the most beautiful there is. Accepting and giving this gift is a choice and it is absolutely within your control. Regardless of whatever you decide to do with this gift, understand that it is the essence of your being and existence. Love yourself and love others. Love deeply. Love wholely. Love truthfully.

The truth and gift of self is the most profound there is. Know and understand that you are in the driver’s seat of your own self. You are the captain of the ship of your destiny. You can decide to offer the world the best of your self or you can decide to keep your self to your self. Either ways, know that indecision is also a choice and it is the worse choice of all. Steer your self to a path of blessedness for others. This is the best choice there is. This is because in refreshing and nourishing others, you will refresh and nourish your self.
